At Design Thinkers Studio, we don’t just teach — we ignite imagination. Picture your child brainstorming with newly established friends, building with code, solving challenges with empathy, and becoming a confident, creative problem-solver.
They’re not just learning, they’re creating the future.
Let’s create, share, and give back one lunchbox at a time.
Ready? Set? Design! 🍎

What if your lunchbox could keep your food warm, organize your snacks, and even remind you to drink water?
Today, you are not just packing lunch. You are designing a better way to eat, stay healthy, and care for others.
____________
Try making your lunchbox eco-friendly, cool to carry, or easy to open for small hands. You’re the designer — be bold!
Ask yourself these questions before you begin:
1. Empathize
Who is this lunchbox for?
What do they like to eat? What do they need to eat?
2. Define the Problem
What problems do lunchboxes usually have?
Does food get cold? Do things spill?
3. Ideate
What features could your new lunchbox have?
A soup container that stays hot?
Compartments for veggies and fruit?
A built-in message from Mom?
4. Prototype
What can you use to build or draw your design?
Can you label the parts and explain how it works?
5. Test (at home!)
Pack a pretend lunch and see what happens.
What could you improve?
Many children in South Africa and beyond go without a meal at school every day. That’s why we proudly support The Lunchbox Fund, a foundation that provides daily meals to vulnerable school children.
When you share your lunchbox design with us,👉 we’ll donate R3 to The Lunchbox Fund — enough to help provide a warm, nutritious meal to a child in need.
